ASIAN SCHOOLS CHESS FESTIVAL - Singapore – 18th to 24th December 2005

1. Eligibility & Participation:
Members of National Junior Development Squad with at least 75% attendance may participate. Age is as of 1 January 2005. There are separate categories for Open and Girls under 9, 11, 13 & 15.

Players must attend both the Opening and Closing Ceremonies.

3. Pairing
In the last 2 rounds, players from the same country and who have more than 50% score shall not be paired together.

4. Time Control
The time control shall be 90 minutes with 30 seconds increment after each move.

5. Medals
5.1 Medals will be awarded to the top three positions in each event and category.
5.2 Team Medals - will be awarded based on the final ranking (after tie-break) of the top three players of a country.

6. Venue
Hotel Royal (Singapore International Chess Convention) / Copthorne Orchid (SIN-MAL Challenge)
